Central Park Church, Birmingham, staff change

Mel Deason is the new pastor of Central Park Church, Birmingham. He comes from East Hill Church, Pensacola, Fla., where he served as pastor. He also served several Alabama churches. Deason is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham and holds a master of divinity and doctor of ministry from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children.
