Brookwood Church, Birmingham, staff change

David Procter is the new executive pastor for Brookwood Church, Birmingham. He comes to the position from Hyde Park Church, Austin, Texas, where he served in a similar position for 13 years. Procter also served at First Church, Lubbock, Texas, and Travis Avenue Church, Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in New Testament from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a master of divinity from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Procter and his wife, Selena, have three children. Jim Haskell is lead pastor.
