Hale Association will hold a Woman’s Missionary Union prayer retreat April 27, 10 a.m., at Antioch Church, Greensboro. Registration will begin at 9:45 a.m. Frances Ann Higdon Smith, who is currently serving with her husband, Shelby, as missionaries in Nicaragua, will speak. Smith will be going on a missions trip to Ecuador in the summer and will be taking goody bags prepared at the retreat. Bring a covered-dish vegetable, salad or dessert.
