First Church, Mobile, classes

First Church, Mobile, is holding its Winter Divinity Sessions Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. for four weeks. The first class was Jan. 5. There are three adult classes/lectures — course #301; Sweet Treats: The Culinary Arts of Hospitality led by Jennifer George and others; course #302, The War: Reflections From the Frontlines and the Home Front led by Katharine Singer, Sid Phillips and Glenn Frazier; and course #303, The Book of Jonah led by Elizabeth Mangham Lott, Bart McNiel and others. A children’s class, Missions & More, is being held in the children’s wing with Connie Easterling, Libba Flott, Thelma Johnson and Margaret Mangham. A preschool nursery also is available.
