Alabama Baptists are helping Champions for Life host a special prison ministry weekend in Montgomery March 15-17.
Teammates are needed to help with visitations and ministry to prison inmates and are needed throughout the entire event, which includes all day Friday and Saturday and half of Sunday. The teammates will also help with Bible study and a Sunday worship service.
The rate will include partial price of meals and a discounted hotel rate. Although casual clothing is appropriate, no all red, all white or all orange clothing is allowed.
A mandatory meeting for first time teammates will be held March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Montgomery, off I-85 east. Veteran teammates are invited to attend. A mandatory spiritual enrichment meeting will be held for all teammates, platform guests and coordinators March 15 at the Holiday Inn at 7:30 p.m.
Deadline for registration is Feb. 27.
