Robert R. “Bobby” Keith Jr., a member of Green Valley Baptist Church, Hoover, was elected chairman of the board of trustees for Baptist Health System (BHS).
The board of trustees, with the support of the Birmingham Baptist Association, manages the direction and function of BHS.
James E. Daniel, a deacon at Deerfoot Baptist Church, Trussville, and president of Daniel Industrial Metals, returns as vice chairman; Gary Fisher, pastor of First Baptist Church, Pinson, returns as secretary along with returning assistant secretary Bunny Stokes Jr., president and CEP of Citizens Federal Savings Bank. Stokes is a deacon and trustee at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, Birmingham.
Keith, who is retired, has served as chairman of BHS’s board in the past.
“We are blessed by the contributions- both in leadership and expertise- our board of trustees for Baptist Health System,” said Dennis A. Hall, BHS president and CEO.
