Associational directors of missions held their annual meeting Nov. 17 at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Mobile.
Following the noon luncheon, a business session was held, as well as a program featuring Cecil Taylor.
Taylor, who serves as dean of the school of religion at the University of Mobile, addressed the role of theology and doctrine in the history of Southern Baptists.
During the business session, new officers for the directors of missions were elected. They are:
President: Ed Cruce, director of missions for Bessemer Association.
President-elect: Jack Collins, director of missions for West Cullman Association.
Treasurer: Jim Jackson, director of missions for Elmore Association.
Serving as president of this year’s meeting was Jim Warren of Colbert Lauderdale Association.
