Mountain Brook Church staff change

J. Douglas Dortch is the new pastor of Mountain Brook Church. He comes from First Church, Tallahassee, Fla., where he served as pastor for 17 years. He also has served other churches in Alabama and Kentucky. A native of Mobile, Dortch grew up in York. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo, master of divinity, master of theology and doctoral degrees from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Judy, have two children.
