Sixth Street Church, Alexander City, staff retirement

Kevin Lanier will retire after 18 years as minister of music and outreach for Sixth Street Church, Alexander City, effective Dec. 31. He has served 42 years total in the ministry. There will be a reception in his honor Dec. 11, 7 p.m., following the choir’s Christmas program “Down From His Glory.” Matt Haines is pastor.
