Q: How did you come to know the Lord?

A: It was the first year I was married at a revival meeting in Woodville, Ala., in 1947.

Q: How did you get involved in ministry?

A: After [my husband] was saved and joined the church, I taught preschool. I just loved working with children. [I would] still be working with children if I was able.

Q: How do your family members support you?

A: My family members support me real good. I have two precious daughters-in-law that are just like daughters to me. If I didn’t have the Lord and my family members, I wouldn’t have made it as long as I have.

Q: How do you see yourself being involved in church in the future?

A: For as long as I live and I am able to get there, I will be at church. I will be in WMU, in Discipleship Training and in worship.

Q: What difference has Jesus Christ made in your life?

A: It seems like He’s always been a part of my life. Since I lost my husband, I don’t know how people live without the love of the Lord and the church.
