A: Our BCM (Baptist Campus Ministries) did a progressive dinner at all the Baptist churches and I started going [after that].
Q: What made you decide to commit to the church?
A: It was a really welcoming environment — they reached out, showed God’s love and brought you in.
Q: What difference did being plugged into your church make during your freshman year?
A: It’s meant the world. … They are always remembering my name and asking about me; I love the way they invest in my life.
