PINCKARD, Ala. — Nancy Batchelor Snell, a Southern Baptist missionary to the Caribbean on medical leave, died June 27 in Pinckard. She was 63.
A native of Oswego, N.Y., Snell and her husband, Don Snell of Pinckard, were appointed by the International Mission Board in 1973.
She served in music promotion, teaching piano and organ to church instrumentalists in Trinidad and Tobago, the Windward Islands, Bermuda, Barbados and other places in the Caribbean. She was placed on medical disability in 2000.
Snell held both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Samford University in Birmingham.
She is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter.
