LONDON — Keith Alton Telg, a representative of the International Mission Board (IMB) in northern Africa, died May 3 in London. He was hospitalized April 23 with a severe headache. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. Telg, 32, and his wife, Michelle, have two sons, Kevin, 6, and Kyle, 3.
A native of Bryan, Texas, Telg and his wife were appointed by the IMB in 1998. He was a graduate of Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to service with the IMB, Telg worked with Beautiful Feet Ministries in Fort Worth, and for Jensen Homes in Ames, Iowa. The Telgs also served two years in northern Africa through the IMB’s International Service Corps program.
