Kate DeWitt Darden has joined Baptist Health System (BHS) as vice president for marketing and communications, according to Keith Parrott, BHS executive vice president and chief operating officer.
“In this role she will oversee branding and marketing efforts for BHS and our four hospitals,” Parrott said.
Darden brings with her 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and branding.
Darden holds leadership roles in the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama, MOMENTUM Women’s Leadership Program and Jones Valley Teaching Farm.
A native of Oklahoma City, Darden graduated from Spring Hill College in Mobile. She also is a graduate of the seventh class of MOMENTUM.
