CONCEPCION, Chile — Chilean prostitutes are suing an evangelical Christian group because their evangelism efforts are hurting business. TravesChile, a trade organization of prostitutes, is bringing a Christian group with United States backing to court, claiming that the group interferes with their work on the streets of Concepción. The religious group has turned the city's largest brothel into a church and plays “really loud music first thing in the morning when the girls are sleeping in,” said one representative of TravesChile. Silvia Parada, president of the organization, told “Las Ultimas Noticias” that the prostitutes will fight back in court.
