Pope declares Internet useful in witnessing

ROME — In his annual message for World Communications Day, Pope John Paul II will single out the Internet as a new tool for sharing Christianity. World Communications Day will take place on May 12, 2002, but the speech will be published in January to help churches prepare for the event.
