Please pray for “Mrs. M.,” a deaf friend who came to our Christmas open house.

One of our deaf Christian friends told the story of the birth of Jesus. When she asked if there were any questions, “Mrs. M.” began asking lots of questions, providing a chance to tell the whole group about sin in our hearts, about who Jesus is and Jesus dying on the cross for our salvation, and about the Holy Spirit working in people’s hearts.

Surprisingly, “Mrs. M.” revealed that she had been baptized when in high school, but since marriage, had not been to church. Pray that “Mrs. M.” will be open to learn Bible stories and renew the faith that she began as a teenager. Pray that she will seek fellowship with the Lord. Pray that her faith might lead to the beginning of a church-planting movement among the deaf in her community.
