RICHMOND, Va. — Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Va., has received a $2 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to participate in a national program that encourages high-school and college-age young people to consider careers in Christian ministry. The program, “The Samuel Project: Awakening to God’s Call,” will seek youth who have the qualities and talent for ministry and provide opportunities for them to explore their vocational choices.
