Southside Church, Alabaster, will host a celebration of the 65th wedding anniversary of Roy C. Griggs and his wife, Dell, on June 14, 2–4 p.m. Griggs served 54 years in the ministry and is the former pastor of churches including Southside; South Highland Church, Bessemer; and Siluria Church, Alabaster. J.D. Davis is pastor of Southside.
