LifeWay’s TRANSFORM training returns to Alabama

LifeWay’s TRANSFORM training returns to Alabama

What if you could lead your small group or Sunday School class in way that would transform lives?

According to LifeWay Christian Resources, its TRANSFORM: Teaching that Changes Lives training will equip leaders to do just that — see transformation.

Returning to Alabama on Aug. 16, the training’s purpose is to “equip teachers with a central focus on seeing lives transformed. … During the training teachers will gain understandings and skills they can put to use immediately regardless of what materials they use or when their group meets,” according to LifeWay’s website.

Participants will learn the meaning of transformational teaching, how to teach with the goal of transformation, practical teaching methods, how to prepare to teach and more.

In 2013, First Baptist Church, Trussville, hosted TRANSFORM. This year the event will be held at Government Street Baptist Church, Mobile.

Positive feedback

Roger Crew, minister of education for First, Trussville, said he heard positive feedback from leaders who participated in TRANSFORM 2013.

“They were challenged, encouraged and equipped to lead their small groups more effectively,” Crew said.

“Both new and experienced leaders expressed benefits from the training.”
