Margaret Ann McKeever, wife of cartoonist for The Alabama Baptist, Joe McKeever, died Jan. 29. She was 72.
She was a native Alabamian as is Joe McKeever, who has served as a pastor of several churches in Mississippi and North Carolina, director of missions in Louisiana and is a popular speaker.
Margaret McKeever is survived by her husband, three children and eight grandchildren.

Don Smith, former pastor of several churches in west Alabama, died Aug. 21. He was 85. A Birmingham native, Smith
James McLain — former pastor of churches in Clarke and Washington Baptist associations — died July 28. He was 77.
