Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, executive association pastor resigned

Christopher Hunsberger, executive associate pastor of Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, has resigned to become the new executive director of Radical effective June 1. Radical is the nonprofit discipleship organization created by David Platt, former pastor of The Church at Brook Hills and president of the International Mission Board. Hunsberger holds a bachelor of science degree in education from Samford University in Birmingham. He previously served as minister of recreation at Dawson and currently serves as chaplain to the Samford baseball team. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters.
