Randy Roberson is the new pastor of Mount Vernon Church, Sylacauga. His first day was May 9. Roberson earned a master of ministry degree from Covington Seminary in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. He served as youth pastor of Resurrected Church, Chattanooga, Tennessee; assistant pastor of One Accord Community Church, Red Bank, Tennessee; and assistant pastor of Queenstown Community Church, Trussville. He and his wife, Stephanie, have one daughter.
