As a pastor, make every effort to be sincerely humble when posting successful ministry events on social media. Social media platforms are excellent tools for outreach and announcements. However, social media also can lead us to coveting other ministries and not being content with where the Lord has placed us.
Posting successful ministry events should focus on the person and work of the Lord, not for others to see how excellent in ministry we have become. We must remember to be humble and take to heart the words found in James 4:10: “Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will exalt you.”
