For the third year in a row, Brookwood Baptist Health system has been recognized as an industry leader by the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Health Forum.
The health institution was named one of the nation’s “Most Wired” health systems, according to the 19th annual Health Care’s Most Wired survey. The survey included nearly 700 participants representing more than 2,000 hospitals, AHA reported.
“The Most Wired hospitals are using every available technology option to create more ways to reach their patients in order to provide access to care,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack.
Chris Davis, Brookwood’s chief information officer, said, “Technology is progressing at a rapid pace and we are going to continue to … adapt to the changing landscape so we can continue to improve the efficiency of care we deliver.” (TAB)
