Several Mobile church leaders are part of the Pledge Group, which is holding Shrink the Divide: A Gathering for Racial Reconciliation on July 24, 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Mobile Civic Center. The event will feature Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, and John Perkins, civil rights activist, author, founder of the John & Vera Mae Perkins Foundation, and co-founder of the Christian Community Development Association.
