Michael Last (center), was awarded first place in the category of High School Bible Drill at the 2014 National Invitational Tournament for Youth and High School Bible Drill and Youth Speakers held June 20 at First Baptist Church, Helen, Ga. He was named Alabama’s state winner May 3, giving him the right to compete at the national level. Other state winners who competed at the national level were Sarah Last (left — Youth Bible Drill) and Kathryn Gosselin (Youth Speakers Tournament).
