New officers for the Alabama Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists are: (l to r) Leon Waterhouse, Birmingham, liaison; James Messer, Mobile, vice president; Sam Wolfe, Huntsville, president; Lee Pitts Spooner, Mobile, secretary/treasurer; and Danny Wolfe, Huntsville, music director. There are currently 32 preachers and 18 singer/musician evangelists involved in the organization, according to Westerhouse.
