The North American Mission Board recently appointed an Alabama native as a special ministries missionary to Tennessee.
Elizabeth G. Sessions, originally from Montgomery, will serve with Smoky Mountain Ministries in Gatlinburg, Tenn. As an international ministry coordinator, she will minister to the international students who live and work in Sevier County.
Sessions earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Auburn University Montgomery.
She has served as a music teacher for the day-care program at First Baptist Church, Montgomery, in Montgomery Baptist Association and is experienced in directing and coordinating music and drama events.
Sessions also sings and plays the piano, violin and guitar. (NAMB)
