ATLANTA — Two Alabama natives are among workers commissioned for missions service by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) June 29 during the CBF General Assembly in Orlando, Fla. These additions bring the CBF missions personnel count to 140.
Lynn and Mike Hutchinson will work with internationals in Paris. Hutchinson was born in Alabama, while Mrs. Hutchinson is a native of Tennessee. Both are graduates of William Carey College in Mississippi. Mrs. Hutchinson earned her graduate degree in social work at the University of Southern Mississippi and Hutchinson graduated from New Orleans Seminary. The Hutchinsons served 12 in Africa with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. They live in Long Beach, Miss.
Anita and Jack Snell will serve as associate coordinators for missions teams in Southeast Asia. Mrs. Snell was born in Alabama, while Snell was born in Florida. Both are graduates of Samford University. Mrs. Snell is a music teacher. Snell, a graduate of Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., has been a pastor since 1966. The Snells live in Jacksonville, Fla., where he is pastor of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.
