Five members of Philadelphia Baptist Church, Birmingham, including Pastor Barry Bruce, recently returned from a two-week missions trip to the capital city of Tanzania. The group assisted local pastors with their work.
A group from Moulton Baptist Church, Moulton, went to Huntersville, W.V., July 1-8 to assist with an expansion and renovation of existing facilities of a Baptist church. A total of 32 people were involved in the trip. Additionally, Pam and Charles Barrett are serving for six months as missionaries in South Africa. And two college students from the church, Leslie Suggs and Jennifer Johnson, served as summer missionaries. Suggs served in Gulf Shores and Johnson served in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The Bethel Builders of Bethel Association built a church in Okmulgee, Okla., and have plans to return again next year.
Members of Franklin Association’s First Baptist Church, Red Bay, recently returned from a missions trip to Ecuador.
