While the 2023 Alabama State Legislative Session begins March 7, the Alabama Citizens Action Program will host a prayer rally on the statehouse steps in Montgomery on March 9 at 11:30 a.m.
“The prayer rally is something new for ALCAP,” said ALCAP President Greg Davis. “We hosted the very first one in 2022, and it was successful. We can never go wrong when we pray. I know those who serve our state in government value the prayers of the people they serve. We know Scripture instructs us to pray for those in authority, so we are pleasing God when we do so.”
The prayer time is slated for 30 minutes. ALCAP plans to have a walking prayer tour of the Statehouse and Capitol at 1 p.m. To get more information about parking and lunch options as well as how to arrange a meeting with your state senator or representative, contact admin@alcap.com.
