Alex City church burns note for new site

Sixth Street Baptist Church, Alexander City, in Tallapoosa Baptist Association holds a note burning for its new 65-acre site March 12. The church paid off the $326,000 note in 18 months. Robert Keatts (right) is pastor. Robert Parson (left) is chairman of the stewardship campaign.
