The 15th Annual Art with a Southern Drawl will be on display April 1–30 in Martin Hall on the University of Mobile (UM) campus. It will be open weekdays 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and selected Sundays 2–4 p.m.
The annual juried exhibition and competition represents a wide range of media, styles, themes and techniques.
The show is under the direction of Charles M. Clark, dean of the UM college of arts & sciences.
The competition is open to artists working in any media, and only original art is accepted.
Artists must be either born in or currently live in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee or Texas.
Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Award of Excellence, Spirit of the South Award, Southern Humor Award: I Did It and I’m Glad and Merit Awards. For information call 251-442-2280.
