Spencer Bell has been elected as an associate in the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions’ office of evangelism and church revitalization. Bell currently serves as pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hartselle.
“When our generation gets frustrated about politics and faith, we shoot somebody. We don’t know how to actually have a free exchange of ideas (and) that’s a problem,” said college freshman Brilyn Hollyhand, advocating for civil discourse.
The two congregations will worship together beginning at 10 a.m. with praise and worship and a brief presentation to honor both churches.
