Artist Showcase at UM

John Malveto, a contemporary artist and professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, will showcase his work in a solo art exhibit at the University of Mobile (UM) Nov. 9–24 in Martin Hall. It will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with a reception Nov. 12, 6–8 p.m.

Malveto has made his body of work known by the extremely distinctive technique “Glass Release Stain Resist Acrylic Pattern,” which alters a combination of abstract surfaces.
