As many as 9,000 Honduran migrants formed a caravan and departed San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on Jan. 15, headed north toward the U.S. At the Guatemalan border, the migrants faced off with Guatemalan soldiers.
By Jan. 19, the caravan has largely dissolved, with many migrants agreeing to go back to Honduras.
Faith groups and religious leaders say the refugee crisis at the border will be one of the first tests of the Biden presidential administration.
