Auburn’s Lakeview to host disciple-making conference

Lakeview Baptist Church, Auburn, will host Eternal Impact: A conference on disciple-making Jan. 29, 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Robert E. Coleman, author of “Master Plan of Evangelism,” will be leading the conference. Coleman is distinguished professor of discipleship and evangelism at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s South Hamilton, Mass., location.

He previously directed the School of World Mission and Evangelism at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield for 18 years, led the Institute of Evangelism in the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., and served as the dean of the Billy Graham International Schools of Evangelism.

“This conference is vital to the church in these days as our mandate is to make disciples,” said Al Jackson, pastor of Lakeview Baptist.

“As our challenges are ever more daunting in seeking to extend the Kingdom, to have Robert Coleman teach us ‘The Master Plan of Evangelism’ in person is a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
