Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: I joined the church as a child, but I didn’t realize I was a sinner without salvation until I was 25. I knelt down by my bed and asked the Lord into my life … in 1950. Shortly after that, I started teaching adult women.
Q: What were some other ministries you were involved in?
A: I taught Training Union [for] adults, juniors and intermediates. I taught study course books, those big books for … the church and different things. I worked in Vacation Bible School in the summertime.
Q: What is your primary ministry now?
A: I do have a ministry here (at the assisted living facility). Some [residents] … do not see well. I … read the Bible to them and have prayer with them most every day.
Q: What difference has Jesus Christ made in your life?
A: First He gave me a joy, peace, love and assurance of life everlasting that I did not have. And that’s a wonderful life. He put a love in my heart for people.
