Basin Church, Elba, ordination and anniversary

Basin Church, Elba, will ordain Bobby Fuller as deacon Aug. 23, 5:30 p.m. There will be a question-and-answer time with all ordained ministers at 4 p.m. Refreshments will follow the service. The church also will celebrate its 76th anniversary and dedicate its newly remodeled sanctuary Aug. 30, 10 a.m. The Campers on Mission will be recognized. Lunch will follow. Danny L. Bynum is pastor.
