Bayside Baptist Church, Lillian, dedicated its new sanctuary April 29, one year after breaking ground. On April 21 the first service was held in the new worship center. The following week Pastor Tom Harris along with church members and community members gathered for the dedication ceremony. Speakers included former pastor Donnie Dickens, pastor of Catoma Baptist Church, and Rick Barnhart of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. Laurie Elmore, of First Baptist Church, Foley, sang “How Great Thou Art.” A fellowship lunch and an afternoon of music of praise concluded the celebration. (Submitted by Tom Harris)
