Beeson Divinity School Hosts Pastors School

Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham will welcome participants from 23 states for its annual Pastors School July 18–22.

About 250 people have registered for the program, now in its 24th year as a time of inspiration and renewal for pastors and their families.

Evening speakers will be Monday, Chuck Colson, president and founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries; Tuesday, Jim Garlow, senior pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego; Wednesday, Maurice Watson, senior pastor of Beulahland Bible Church in Macon, Ga.; and Thursday, Tullian Tchividjian, senior pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Richard Bewes, preacher, author, broadcaster and former rector of All Souls Church in London, will lead Bible studies each morning. The topics are based on passages from the Book of Daniel.

A women’s track, Cast Your Burdens, is based on Psalm 55:22. A pre-conference seminar for pastors and their spouses will begin at 10 a.m. July 18.
