Belcher Bethel Baptist Church, Bakerhill, celebrated its 175th anniversary Aug. 3. Rob Jackson of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions was the guest speaker. Special music was provided by the church’s praise team and Resting Place.
The church received commendations from Jackson as well as Sen. Billy Beasley and Jane Hughes, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, with Pastor Joe Vickers, accepting the plaques.
