Bessemer Association, new director of missions

Barry Cosper is the new director of missions for Bessemer Association. He plans to begin his ministry July 29. Cosper holds a bachelor of arts in religion and minor in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham, a master of divinity degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and a doctorate  from New Orleans Seminary. He previously served as director of missions for Tallapoosa Association since 2005 and was pastor of Canaan Church, Bessemer. He and  his wife, Cathy, have two daughters.
