Lawrence Phipps, founder and director of It’s Life Ministry, will begin as interim pastor of Bethany Church, Andalusia, on May 31. Former pastor of Vaughn Forest Church, Montgomery, Phipps currently serves on the board of directors for The Alabama Baptist.
