Beulah Church, Boaz, anniversary

Beulah Church, Boaz, celebrated its 130th anniversary Aug. 19 with The Singing Ambassadors in concert. Mike Johnson preached and Vonnell Head was recognized as a granddaughter of founding pastor James D. Jordan. The church’s summer revival followed with preaching by Lynn Sharpton (New Macedonia Church), Mike Goforth (Sardis Church), David Martin (Mount Vernon Church) and Joey Cannady (Solitude Church). Tony Holcomb is pastor.
