Baptist Montclair of Baptist Health System will host a Grandparenting Seminar Oct. 4, 9 a.m. till noon in Harris Auditorium on the Montclair campus.
This special course is the first of its kind to be offered in the Birmingham area and is designed as a refresher class and information-sharing opportunity for grandparents who will be babysitting. Participants will learn infant/child rescue breathing, car seat safety, poison safety, child proofing the home and updates on infant care.
Registration is required. A light snack will be served and parking is free. Certified Safe Sitter instructors teach the Grandparenting Seminar.
