Billingsley Baptist Church celebrated its 125th anniversary Aug. 17. Former pastor Robert McMicken was the guest preacher. Members Leslie Williams and Kathleen Wyatt shared childhood memories and a historical reading.
Special music was provided by Spoken For trio. Mel Johnson, associational missionary for Autauga Baptist Association, and Ralph Foster, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, also participated in the service. Longtime members Jayne Johnson, Williams and Pastor David Kelley accepted the plaque presented by Foster.
