Birmingham Association and United for Life Foundation will hold a resource conference called Embracing Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias for families, caregivers, clergy and professionals Feb. 4–5 at Shades Mountain Church, Vestavia Hills. Sessions will be Friday from 1:30 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ellen Marie Edmonds, radio host and author of “Embracing Dementia, A Call to Love,” will speak.
