Bomb destroys doors of Palestinian Bible Society

JERUSALEM — The blast from a bomb placed by militants at the door of the Palestinian Bible Society in Gaza destroyed the building’s steel and glass doors in early February. The detonation of the explosive device littered the street-level bookshop and Bible center with nails and sharp pieces of metal, according to a worker there.

At the time of the explosion, no one was in the building. Days before, an angry mob attacked the Bir Zeit Living Stones Center, an outreach center in the village of Bir Zeit. “The situation in the Palestinian areas is turning into chaos,” said a Christian from the area.
